Your first 90 days as a real estate agent in Dubai
A realistic plan for the first three months: what to learn, what to do every week and when to expect the first deal.
Days 1–30: learn and start talking
- Pass the training of your brokerage and start the broker card process
- Learn the main areas of Dubai: what is sold there, for how much and to whom
- Study two projects a week in person, at the sales office or on site
- Answer every client fast and write every conversation down
- Go to viewings with an experienced colleague
Days 31–60: meetings every day
- Hold at least one viewing or meeting a day yourself
- Choose your territory: two or three areas or one building you know better than anyone
- Follow up with every client once a week with something new
- Count your week: clients answered, meetings held, offers made
Days 61–90: the first offer
- Bring the first client to an offer and lead it with a senior colleague
- Ask every satisfied client for one recommendation
- Keep the daily numbers even when a deal is close — the next one starts today
When the first deal comes depends on the client and the property; many brokers close it in the second or third month, some later. What you control is the number of conversations and meetings — keep it up, and the deal follows.
