How to become a real estate agent in Dubai
The steps from the first meeting with a brokerage to the broker card — and what the work looks like in the first months.
The steps
Choose a licensed brokerageA broker in Dubai works under a brokerage registered with RERA, the regulator inside the Dubai Land Department. Ask the company for its ORN number — ours is 32533.
Residence and documentsYou need a UAE residence visa and an Emirates ID to be registered as a broker. How the visa is arranged is agreed with the brokerage.
The certified courseNew brokers take the certified training for real estate brokers at the institute of the Dubai Land Department.
The RERA examAfter the course you pass the RERA exam.
The broker cardThe brokerage registers you, and you receive a broker card with your own number. The card is renewed regularly.
The first clientsYou learn the areas and the projects, answer buyers, go to viewings — and close the first deal.
The fees for the course, the exam and the card are set by the Dubai Land Department and change from time to time, so we do not print them here — we tell you the current ones at the meeting.
What the work looks like in the first months
- Learning: areas, projects, contracts — with us it is the Seafront Academy, 21 lessons with tests
- Fast answers to buyers: the one who answers first usually gets the client
- Viewings and meetings — the deal is made in person, not in the chat
- Discipline in the CRM: every client has a next step and a date

What the company gives you
- Buyers from the company. We film every property; the videos bring buyers, and they go to our brokers. Your own clients are welcome too.
- Our own CRM. Every client, conversation and task in one place — with our stock and every off-plan project in the UAE.
- The Seafront Academy. 21 short lessons with tests: areas, laws, contracts, sales and work with owners. You start with it.
- Video for your listings. A listing you bring is filmed and published on our channels — it works for you for months.
- A licensed brokerage. Seafront Properties LLC, RERA ORN 32533, office in Business Bay.
