How to succeed as a real estate broker in Dubai

What separates the brokers who close deals every month from those who leave in the first year — eight habits you can start today.

Eight habits of brokers who close

  • Answer first. The client writes to several brokers at once. The one who answers in minutes usually keeps the client; the one who answers in the evening usually does not.
  • Know ten projects deeply, not a hundred by name. Location, developer, prices, payment plan, handover, who it suits. Add one project a week.
  • Ask before you offer. Budget, to live or to invest, ready or off-plan, when. Two options that fit beat twenty that do not.
  • Meet people. Deals are made at viewings and meetings, not in the chat. One meeting a day is the minimum; no client today — meet a developer or walk a building.
  • Speak in numbers. What the neighbouring unit was sold for, what the price per square foot is, what the payment plan costs per month. Numbers build trust faster than adjectives.
  • Follow up with something new. Not «any update?» but a new option, a price change, a fresh sale in the building.
  • Keep order. Every client has a next step with a date. A broker with fifty clients in his head loses forty of them.
  • Be honest about the minus. Every area and every project has one. The client who heard it from you comes back to you.

Why most new brokers leave

Not because the market is closed, but because the first deal takes months and they stop before it comes. The ones who stay do the same simple things every day — calls, meetings, one new project — and count them. The result follows the numbers with a delay.
