A real estate broker's daily routine in Dubai

A working day in blocks: when to call, when to be out of the office and how to close the day — with the minimum numbers to hold.

The day in blocks

TimeWhat you doWhy
8:30–9:00Plan: tasks and three things that must happen todayThe day is decided before the phone starts ringing
9:00–12:00Messages, calls, booking the meetings of the dayPeople answer best in the morning
12:00–17:00Viewings, meetings, buildings, developers' sales officesThis is where deals are made
17:00–18:30Answer everyone who wrote during the day, confirm tomorrowNobody waits for you until tomorrow
18:30–19:00Close the day: a next step with a date for every clientTomorrow starts ready

The minimum numbers

  • Every new client answered within minutes
  • At least one viewing or meeting a day; six to eight a week
  • One project or building studied in person every week
  • At least three hours a day out of the office
  • For brokers who work with owners: calls in the morning block and a meeting with an owner or a new building every day

Do not sit in one place

Three hours at the desk in a row is the limit. No meeting planned — make one: visit a project you will offer this week, meet a building manager, walk your area and write down what is for sale. Every building you have seen yourself makes the next sale easier.
