What you need to prepare

- Health insurance valid in the UAE
Good to know
- Property worth AED 2M or more — one or several — qualifies for the 10-year Golden Visa
- For the Golden Visa you apply while you are inside the UAE
- Valid health insurance is required
- A Golden Visa holder may stay outside the UAE longer than six months without losing the visa
- While the visa is valid, the property that supports it cannot be sold without affecting the visa

The Dubai Land Department states 7–10 working days after the application.
Do I have to live in the UAE?
No. A Golden Visa stays valid even if you are abroad for more than six months.
